Worldlink's patented technology allows an initial download of selected data by the recipient - for instance, the current prices of a portfolio of stocks - which are then automatically updated as the prices change. Only the changed data alters on the screen thereafter enabling quicker speeds of display and minimal use of data transfer. This process is not restricted to financial data; it applies to any type of changing data, for example sports results, gambling or gaming data, even travel information.
